Bible Verse

Jeremiah 29:11

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Devotional

There are moments in life when we feel uncertain about the future. Plans may change, doors may close, and situations may not unfold the way we expected. During those times, it is easy to feel worried or discouraged.

Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us of a powerful promise from God. He tells us that He already knows the plans He has for our lives. While we may not always understand what is happening, God sees the bigger picture. His plans are not meant to harm us but to bring us hope and a future.

Trusting God’s plan requires faith. Sometimes the path He leads us on may feel confusing or different from what we imagined. But even in those moments, God is still working behind the scenes, guiding our lives according to His perfect purpose.

When we trust God, we learn to release our fears and place our future in His hands. We begin to understand that His timing is perfect and His love for us never fails.

Today, remember that your life is in God’s hands. His plans for you are filled with hope, and He is faithfully leading you toward the future He has prepared.

Prayer

Lord, Thank You for the plans You have for my life. Even when I do not understand the path before me, help me to trust that Your plans are good. Give me peace when I feel uncertain and strengthen my faith to follow where You lead. I place my future in Your loving hands. In Jesus name, Amen.
