Bible Verse
Jeremiah 33:3
“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and
unsearchable things you do not know.”
Devotional
Prayer is one of the most beautiful gifts God has given to
His people. Through prayer, we are able to speak directly to God, share our
worries, express our gratitude, and seek His guidance in every part of our
lives.
In Jeremiah 33:3, God gives a wonderful invitation: “Call to
me and I will answer you.” This promise reminds us that God is not distant or
uninterested in our lives. Instead, He invites us to come to Him and trust that
He listens when we pray.
Sometimes we may wonder if our prayers are heard, especially
when answers do not come as quickly as we expect. Yet God's Word assures us
that He hears every prayer spoken with a sincere heart. His answers may come in
ways we do not expect, but His wisdom is always greater than our understanding.
Prayer also helps us grow closer to God. As we spend time
talking with Him, our faith deepens and our hearts become more sensitive to His
guidance. Through prayer, we learn to trust His timing and His plans for our
lives.
Today, remember that God hears your prayers. No matter how
big or small your concerns may seem, you can bring them before Him with
confidence and faith.
Prayer
Lord, Thank You for inviting me to come to You in prayer. Help me
to trust that You hear every word I speak to You. When I feel uncertain or
discouraged, remind me that You are listening and that Your plans are good.
Teach me to seek You faithfully in prayer each day. In Jesus name, Amen.
