Bible Verse
Psalm 46:1
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in
trouble.”
Devotional
In life, there are moments when fear seems unavoidable.
Challenges, uncertainty, and unexpected situations can make us feel overwhelmed
and afraid. But Psalm 46:1 gives us a powerful reminder: “God is our refuge and
strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”
This verse assures us that God is not distant, He is present
with us at all times. When difficulties arise, we do not have to face them
alone. God is our refuge, a safe place where we can find protection and peace.
He is also our strength, giving us the power to endure and overcome.
Faith over fear means choosing to run to God instead of
being controlled by fear. It means trusting that no matter how big the problem
is, God is greater. When we rely on Him, we find courage that goes beyond our
natural abilities.
There may be storms in life, but God remains steady and
unchanging. His presence brings peace in the middle of chaos, and His strength
carries us through every trial.
When fear tries to take hold of your heart, remember that
God is your refuge. You can come to Him at any time, and He will never turn you
away. In His presence, you will find comfort, strength, and hope.
Today, choose faith over fear. Trust in God’s protection,
rely on His strength, and rest in the assurance that He is always with you.
Prayer
Lord, Thank You for being my refuge and my strength. When fear
tries to overwhelm me, help me to turn to You. Remind me that You are always
present and ready to help me in every situation. Fill my heart with peace and
give me the courage to trust You completely. In Jesus name, Amen.
