Devotional
Fear is something that every person experiences. We may fear
the future, fear failure, or fear situations that feel beyond our control.
These fears can quietly grow in our hearts and steal the peace that God desires
for us to have.
But the Bible reminds us in 1 John 4:18 that God’s perfect
love drives out fear. When we truly understand how deeply God loves us, fear
begins to lose its power. His love assures us that we are not alone and that
our lives are safely held in His hands.
God’s love is not uncertain or temporary. It is constant,
faithful, and unconditional. Even when we feel weak or unsure, His love remains
the same. Because of His love, we can face life with confidence and trust in
His care.
The more we grow in our relationship with God, the more His
love fills our hearts. As His love grows in us, fear begins to fade. We learn
to trust Him more and rest in the peace that only He can give.
Today, remember that God’s perfect love surrounds you. Let
His love calm your fears and fill your heart with peace.
Prayer
Lord, Thank You for Your perfect love that drives out fear. When
worries and fears fill my heart, remind me that Your love is greater than
anything I face. Help me to trust in Your care and rest in the peace that comes
from knowing You love me completely. In Jesus name, Amen.
