In life, many things can change. Circumstances shift, people
come and go, and situations that once felt stable can suddenly become
uncertain. Because of this, it is easy for our hearts to feel insecure or
discouraged.
Psalm 136:1 reminds us of a beautiful and unchanging truth:
God is good, and His love endures forever. Unlike human love, which can
sometimes fail or change, God’s love remains constant and faithful through
every season of our lives.
The verse begins with a call to give thanks to the Lord.
Gratitude helps us remember God's goodness even when life feels difficult. When
we take time to thank God, we begin to see how His love has been present in our
lives all along.
God’s unfailing love means that He never abandons His
children. He walks with us in times of joy and in moments of struggle. His love
comforts us when we are weary, strengthens us when we are weak, and gives us
hope for the future.
Today, take a moment to thank God for His goodness. No
matter what you are facing, remember that His love for you will never end. His
unfailing love is a firm foundation you can always trust.
Prayer
Lord, Thank You for Your unfailing love that never changes. Even
when life feels uncertain, help me to remember that Your love for me is
constant and true. Fill my heart with gratitude for Your goodness each day.
Teach me to trust in Your love and to rest in the assurance that You will never
leave me. In Jesus name, Amen.
