Devotional
Life is full of choices and decisions. Every day we face
situations that require wisdom and direction. Sometimes we may feel unsure
about which path to take or what decision will lead us in the right direction.
Psalm 25:4 is a humble prayer from David asking God to guide
his life. Instead of relying on his own understanding, David asks the Lord to
show him the right way and to teach him the paths he should follow.
This verse reminds us that God desires to guide His people.
He knows the journey ahead of us, the challenges we will face, and the purpose
He has prepared for our lives. When we ask for His guidance with a humble and
willing heart, He leads us step by step.
Seeking God’s guidance means trusting Him more than our own
plans. It means spending time in prayer, reading His Word, and allowing His
truth to shape our decisions. When we walk in God's ways, we discover that His
path leads us toward peace, wisdom, and purpose.
Today, take time to ask God to guide your life. Invite Him
to direct your steps and teach you His ways. When we trust His guidance, we can
move forward with confidence, knowing that the Lord is leading us.
Prayer
Lord, Show me Your ways and teach me Your paths. When I feel
uncertain about the future, help me to trust in Your wisdom instead of my own
understanding. Guide my decisions, shape my heart, and lead my steps
according to Your will. Help me to walk faithfully in the path You have
prepared for my life. In Jesus name, Amen.
