Devotional
The message of the Bible can be summarized in one powerful
truth: God loves us. Among all the verses in Scripture, John 3:16 beautifully
expresses the depth of God’s love for humanity.
This verse tells us that God loved the world so much that He
gave His only Son. This love is not small or temporary it is the greatest love
ever shown. God willingly gave Jesus so that we could receive forgiveness,
hope, and eternal life.
Human love can sometimes fail or change, but God’s love is
perfect and unconditional. He loved us even when we were far from Him. Through
Jesus Christ, God made a way for us to be restored into a relationship with
Him.
John 3:16 also reminds us that this love is available to
everyone who believes. Salvation is not something we earn through our own
efforts. It is a gift of grace given by God because of His incredible love.
Today, take time to reflect on how great God’s love is for
you. No matter your past or your struggles, His love remains open and
available. When we believe in Christ, we receive not only forgiveness but also
the promise of eternal life with Him.
Prayer
Lord, Thank You for loving the world so deeply that You gave Your
Son for us. Thank You for the gift of salvation and the promise of eternal life
through Jesus Christ. Help me to understand more deeply the greatness of Your
love. Teach me to live each day with gratitude and faith, trusting in the grace
You have given me. In Jesus name, Amen.
